Our History

Established in 1982 by late Herminia Mateo, Renia’s is named after the founder’s youngest daughter. Growing up from a poor family, during her teenage years, Herminia used to sell different snacks at a food stall in Malabon, together with her mother. When she started to work at Villamor Air Base, she set the start-up business, Renia’s Snack Center, co-located within her house.
Seeing that the customers enjoyed her specialty, Pancit Malabon, she eventually expanded its food selection, offering different kinds of snacks. The customer base were primarily members of the Philippine Air Force, and later on became known to its nearby air bases and camps.

Over the years, the business made a legacy of its own, within its community location. Its products became part of different celebrations- Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s, or just any get together of friends and families.
Running for four decades, Renia’s continues to serve its customers through its consistent service, simplicity, and home-like ambience. Seeing the changes of its area over the years, it is still located at the same spot, where it all started
